All the meetings will be registered in a digital diary, so VNU Exhibitions can offer vLm members matchmaking possibilities. The trade event ICT & Logistiek will be held on 7 and 8 November at the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht.
Matchmaking fits well into the further development of this medium. Fair visitors can create a profile before the fair. The system will match up the profile with interesting exhibitors, seminars, business partners and visitors. The visitor can indicate online the contacts he or she wishes to meet during the fair and invite these people for a meeting. VNU Exhibitions is offering this new tool at the ICT & Logistiek fair exclusively to vLm members.
Business lounge
On the fair floor, organiser VNU Exhibitions has set up a vLm business lounge. Fair manager Paul Verdult: "A fair unites supply and demand. On the basis of the refined profiles we can put together ‘the best match’. Match-making will ensure a highly efficient fair visit. The major advantage is that it will bring visitors in contact with exhibitors but more importantly put them in touch with other visitors who they would normally have had no contact with. This technology will encourage visitors to broaden their horizons."
For the moment VNU Exhibitions is only offering this opportunity to vLm members. Verdult: "It is a question of enriching your knowledge. This is an organisation whose members possess a lot of know-how. It is a challenge for us to bring members together to discuss cases. Also, time is money: if you can speak to precisely the right people a fair visit becomes very lucrative."
High-grade network platform
vLm is honoured to be able to offer this chance to match make to its members.
